The Cat's Contour Ceramic Cat Bed is all because of me, Buffy. Yep, that’s me in the pictures. The story starts because my favorite bed in the house kept getting wet whenever the humans washed their paws.
One day, my human had an idea to solve this, and told me about something called a hardware store. I didn't pay much attention at first because it didn't sell food, but I figured if the human was so excited about it, it might be worth a shot.
Next thing I knew, our house was filled with all sorts of things to lie in! My human called them “sinks” and told me to try them out. I couldn’t believe it, there were so many shapes, sizes and materials.
I lay in the first one: the material was right, but the shape was all wrong. No good. I tried the next. Plastic! What do you think I am, a dog?
After that, I carefully trained my human to pick only the best prototypes. An oval shape offered the most comfort, but it had to be paired with a perfectly proportioned depression, versatile enough that I could lounge on my tummy, side, or back.
The height of the walls also had to be carefully considered. They had to create a comfortable cocoon, but if they were too high, they blocked my view of the birds outside. Finally, the bed needed a soft rounded upper lip for resting my chin or cheek after a demanding day of lounging.
And listen, I may be a cat, but I have a sense of taste too: we couldn't just have an ugly sink sitting in the middle of the living room. It had to add to the décor of the room and be something I was proud to lie in.
My human says I was Goldilocks in another life.
To satisfy all these needs, we had no choice but to design our own bed. Now I can hang out in the living room in my irresistible ceramic lounger, and the humans can wash their paws to their hearts’ content.
The Cat’s Contour Ceramic Cat Bed is the culmination of extensive research, a passion for beautiful modern design, and the deep love between human and cat. (But don’t tell anyone, I have a reputation to uphold.)
Now we would like to share our invention with other aesthetically minded cats and their humans. Each cat bed is made to order with the same love and attention that was placed in the first. I hope that your kitty enjoys it as much as I do.
